18th edition of the Imouzzer Kander Peoples' Film Festival

From 17 to 20 November 2022, Imouzzer Kandar will be the host city for the 18th edition of the Peoples' Film Festival.
An initiative of the Ciné-club Imouzzer Kandar association, this cultural event will feature a rich and diverse menu for lovers of the 7th art.

In addition to Morocco, this event will see the participation of 15 short films representing several countries.
This edition of the Festival will also be an opportunity to pay tribute to the actress Nadia Aït Ben Haddou for her rich cultural career.

The Peoples' Film Festival is organised by the members of the Imouzzer Cine-Club who, since its creation, have performed their task superbly, thanks to the generosity of the friends of Imouzzer and the cine-club, the support of the public and local, national and international actors who believe in the work of the cine-club, and the support of some actors who saw that what is founded in Imouzzer is not due to the whims of a few individuals, but to an initiative well-anchored in the stakes they set for themselves with a view to registering as an action belonging above all to the margins and the children of the forgotten geography. Objectives: - The Imouzzer Cine-club aims to popularise cinematographic culture and culture in general by: - Screening films chosen for their artistic and cultural value. - Organising training workshops on cinematographic and audio-visual techniques in general. - Popularising cinematographic and audio-visual editions and organising round tables on chosen themes. - Organising festivals, conferences, and cinematographic and cultural events. - Publishing films, newspapers, magazines, and books with a cinematographic aspect. - Organising cinematographic activities in collaboration with other associations and institutions with the same objectives.
